What is the difference in manufacturing a 150Ah and a 200Ah lead acid battery?
The manufacturing process is similar and so is the chemistry I.e. chemicals and raw materials used.
What shall change however is the qty of materials used and overall battery size maybe.
Obviously the 200Ah battery in comparison to 150 Ah battery has to have either or a combination of -
- More number of plates per cell.
- Bigger plates of higher capacity.
- Larger volume of electrolyte.
- Bigger size container with suitable cover possibly.
- Separators and any other material of qty matching plate qty. and size.
